Joining a cross stitch SAL

As if I don’t have enough sewing to for Christmas I came across a fantasy SAL (sew along) run by Lakeside Needlecraft that has been designed by Durene Jones.

It actually started in August so I’m 3 pictures behind and after tomorrow it will be 4!

What is fantastic about this is every month now on the first I will be emailed the next picture and I won’t know till then what it is!!

They have a new SAL starting in January with the theme Under the sea!

I have already decided to sew the pictures on this afghan pictured below (modelled by my sewing mascot Stitchy) so it is my first SAL and my first afgahan

Are any of you doing or considering a SAL? Maybe you are doing this one or planning to take part in the Under the Sea one? Let me know

Wish Christmas Picture Complete
