Pokemon Cards!

Before Moshi Monsters and Skylanders we had Pokemon! Well actually we still do have Pokemon but the massive craze has died down but the games are still popular.

Being a huge Pokemon fan when I had an email about a new magazine all about Pokemon I decided to subscribe and yesterday issue two arrived and to my absolute delight it contain a pack of Pokemon cards! Granted it’s a sampling pack which only contains 3 but I was instantly taken back to the excitement of buying these cards every Saturday in town and hoping it would contain cards I didn’t already have!

So here is the cards I got:

Left to right: Togepi, Cherubi and Zubat

I have to say I am considering going out and buying some cards as I forgot how much I enjoyed collecting Pokemon cards.

Until my next update… Happy collecting!!

My 10 year old loves Pokemon. She’s brought the craze back to her school and has all the little boys vying to sit with her at lunch so they can trade cards. She literally has hundreds of them – two huge binders full of them! Nice to see she’s not the only female aficionado. 🙂

I used to be a card collecting fanatic, lol. I actually have the complete original set of cards somewhere in storage. The nostalgia alone is worth keeping them. I still buy the games as they come out, too. It is amazing how many adults I find that are also fans. ^_^
