Crochet update

I’ve decided as I have been doing weekly sewing updates (when I have time and remember!) then why not do a crochet one?

PBG1

This is a girl’s pram blanket that I finished on Thursday. It is not for anyone in particular right now just part of my stock of baby blankets I hope to sell soon.

galaxy red scarf

This is a scarf I’m making for myself that I started on Thursday after finishing the pram blanket. I’m using King Cole Galaxy Ruby wool. The balls are only 50g so I will probably end up using 2 balls to make my scarf. I’m using a 3.5 hook to keep the work fine and tight.

Until my next update… Happy Crafting!!

Broken New Year Resolution!

Yes I have been naughty and broke one of my resolutions which is annoying as I didn’t break any last year.

It was the not buying paperbacks one which I thought would be the hardest for me to maintain but I lasted a couple of months!

These are the books that broke it

The why I brought them is because they aren’t available on the Kindle as I’m after trying the Alex Cross series by James Patterson. They were also a good price!

I hope these books are good enough for me to have broken my resolution!

Until my next update… Happy Crafting!!

My very first video!

I know I haven’t been blogging in ages and have lots of blog posts to write.

I was inspired by a post from stitchsharer about making a youtube channel and uploading videos. This got me thinking how can I do that?

I looked at the software on my laptop and found I had a programme I could use to make a video so I did. It’s nothing fancy just a photo gallery of images of Blake Ritson and when I found I could add some background music I had to do it! I decided on the song Ev’ry Time We Say Goodbye but the version done by Annie Lennox which she sang in the film Richard II.

But don’t worry I haven’t stopped crafting I have lots of posts to write about that!

So here is the link to my video
