Nanowrimo Fail!

Yes I know it’s been a few days since the deadline for Nanowrimo but it’s only now I feel brave enought to talk about my failure at this task.

I really thought I could do it. 50,000 words in one month ok yeah can do that. But I didn’t. I didn’t because I made some fundamental mistakes.

Firstly I made no plan before I started. I just wrote what came into my head as I wanted to try and do fiction which is not my area. I’m a fanfiction writer and I didn’t think you could write fanfiction for it. Half way into the month I found out you could.

I also didn’t start on the first of the month. If I had I could have paced myself better and maybe got a bit closer to 50,000 words instead of a poxy 20,000.

So what will I do next November? Well start planning my Christmas shopping but I have promised myself I will try it again because even though I failed, I enjoyed the attempt. I have so many fanfiction ideas and I look forward to cherry picking one.

Until the next update… Happy Crafting!!
