Four Season Owls Complete

Here is thewinter owl I was working on to complete. Below is how they all look together

I have no idea what I will be working on next but probably will be something small as this has taken me exactly three months!

Until my next update… Happy Crafting!!

Nanowrimo second week update

As we have reached the end of the second week of Nanowrimo I thought I would do another update. I’m still way behind as I’m now up to 2275 words.

Here’s a new extract:

“One kiss from the devil will give you back your life but it also gives you powers. You will never be a normal human being. You are alive and dead. You have a soul but no heart. You’re feelings taken and replaced with the skills needed for this career. A career as an assassin. The Devil’s Assassin”

Let me know what you think

Until my next update… Happy Crafting!!!

Friday is crocheting day

Yes I know it’s Saturday but I didn’t have time after work last night to do my blog post.

So I decided to make some good progress on my Christmas crochet.

Here is the ball of wall before I started

Here it is at the end of crochet day

One ball of wall left to turn into squares then it’s my least favourite job of crochet. Sewing up and bordering!

Until my next update… Happy Crafting!!

Christmas issue of WOXS

Today was the day issue 197 came of out of World of Cross Stitching which I dashed out to get quick as there is a picture in it I’m dying to sew!

When I saw in the previous isse of WOXS the Downton Abbey style Christmas scene I knew I wanted it on my wall and will, now I’ve got the chart, will be starting it very soon!

Untill my next update… Happy Crafting!!

Autumn Owl Complete!

Here he is! All done!

I decided to put some proper work into my sewing today and it paid off as I have one owl left to do. When this project is finished I might start a Christmas picture as I haven’t got any for my new bedroom yet. On top of my millions of other projects for crochet, reading and 50,000 words.

Well I have always liked a challenge!!

Until my next update… Happy Crafting!!!

My First Nanowrimo update

So I have started the challenge. Writing 50,000 words for the novel I have decided to call Devil’s Assassin.

Here is the extract that I posted on the site under my novel information:

A happy person. That is how I have always been described by friends and family.  Always willing to help out, a kind ear and a shoulder to cry on. So what made me change? What caused me to start carrying a gun and a burning bow and arrows??

I was murdered.

Now for the dreaded word count… Well I have done well on that. My word count at the moment is 400. At this rate I will finish they tell me on November 27th 2014!

Thats the problem when you have crochet and cross stitch projects. Plus books to read and Christmas shopping to do!!

I do hope to make some real progress on the novel this week. Need some inspiration.

Until my next update… Happy Crafting!!!

Autumn owl Update

As promised the latest update of the Autumn Owl. I would like to finish that owl and the Winter one soon so I can make a start on my new Christmas pictures.

I’ve also got my Christmas present projects to work on and my 50,000 word challenge on Nanowrimo which I will be updating about soon.

Until my next update… Happy Crafting!!
