Mystery Crochet Project Revealed

So here is the finished article and what is it? It’s a blanket for my friend’s baby’s moses basket. I thought I had been cryptic enough in the post where I shown just the ball of wall and she told me when I gave it to her that she knew it something to do with her. How on earth did she guess? I have no idea but the main thing is she liked it and I hope “Bean” does too when he arrives!!

Until the next update… Happy Crafting!!

My very first Mollie Makes!!

I had been considering getting myself a copy of Mollie Makes for a while now but when I saw this issue with the jam on toast scarf I had to have it!

They seem to vary with having a crochet project, a knitting project and a couple of projects that involve sewing of one kind or other. I can’t wait to make the toast and jam!!  It also came with some buttons which I myself can’t use at the moment and the next issue comes with some scissors which every crafter needs a decent pair!

Incase you are wondering I will certainly be buying the next issue!!

Until my next update… Happy Crafting!!

Book Buying!!

I have been very naughty and been buying books!!

I have been meaning to buy The Shoemaker’s Wife since I read the sample on my kindle and decided I had to read it.

The other book I brought I have seen mentioned on quite a few craft blogs

I enjoy doing granny squares and some of the examples I’ve seen from the book look really interesting. I’ll be making hundreds of blankets at this rate!

Until my next update.. Happy Crafting!!!

Summer Owl and Xmas Stitching Update 2

I have kept up my sewing one letter a day and here is the latest I have completed

The Summer Owl I haven’t had a lot of time to work on what with sewing a letter a day, reading and mystery crocheting.

I have worked out I now have left 77 sewing projects to complete before Christmas and if I manage to keep up one letter a day I will finish on 9th December!!

So I am going to have to keep up being very disiplined but I feel more positive about reaching my goal now!

Until the next update… Happy Crafting!!

Pink Feather Lights!!

Look what I’ve added to the Jazzy wall, no not more pictures yet but these

I can’t show you a picture of them switched on as I don’t have batteries for them. I do have more lights to hang up as part of project new bedroom, once I’ve sewn some more pictures.

Well I better get back to my million projects

Until the next update… Happy Crafting!!

My almost bare London Wall

So I thought I’d better show you all a picture of the last wall that I’m working on as part of project New Bedroom.

As you can see there is not a lot on my London Wall

Here is a close up

I have some charts to sew for this wall which I will get round to once I finish my Christmas sewing, Four Owls and whatever else catches my eye. Oh yeah some reading somewhere!!

Until the next update… Happy Crafting!!
